Riso Ristorante

Riso Ristorante is located in beautiful, historic surroundings at the base of the Buda Castle Wall. Our interior is relaxed and comfortable and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

By placing specific emphasis on traditional recipes and the finest, high quality ingredients, Riso Ristorante is a perfect choice for modern Italian cuisine, Italian fusion, or famous Hungarian dishes.

We procure hams and salumi, cheese, mushrooms, and seafood from Italy and make pastas fresh in our kitchen, including gnocchi, agnolotti, ravioli, canneloni and papardelle. We also bake traditional Italian rolls and breads daily.

In our beautiful 70-seat garden, which consists of one main terrace and two smaller, separate terraces, we offer unique grilled specialties in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Public parking is available across from the restaurant or there is the option of the Hotel Castle Garden’s garage (reservation for hotel parking is required).

The Riso Terrace

The terrace at Riso Ristorante is officially open from April until the end of October.
The biggest terrace in Central Buda, the garden offers full-service dining among Mediterranean evergreens, herb bushes, and shrubs.

The terrace is an ideal place for business meetings during breakfast and lunch. During the summer, guests can enjoy live concerts and gastronomical events in the evening.

The design of the terrace is perfect for groups and private events, offering two terraced sections, both accommodating 30-40 guests.
